FINANCIAL AUDIT COMMITTEE

Seeking FIVE (5) MFN MEMBERS that not be employed in any way with Muskoday First Nation.

Muskoday First Nation is seeking FIVE Membership to provide oversight of the financial reporting process, the audit process, the company's system of internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations.

Interested Individuals must have knowledge and/or work experience in this area with the following specifications:

  • Knowledge of the Muskoday First Nation Land Code and related policies and procedures.
  • First Nation history of land management.
  • Local Government law and rules.
  • Principles of natural justice and mediation.
  • Thorough knowledge of “The Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management”, “Transfer Agreement with Canada” and the “Muskoday First Nation Land Code”.
  • Provincial and Federal environmental laws. 
  • Maintain confidentiality.
