Saskatchewan Rush celebrates diversity with STC First Nations

Approximately 800 of STC member community youth travelled to Saskatoon for a special ceremony honouring RUSH player Jeremy Thompson and his three brothers who were in the city to play for the Georgia SWARM. The entire group entered and exited the lacrosse field to drumming and were led by an eagle staff & flag carriers.

STC leadership and youth gifted the Thompson brothers with star blankets. The brothers shared a powerful message about their struggles and successes to help inspire all the youth.

The event demonstrated the SK Rush commitment to community diversity as celebration of the ongoing partnership between the Saskatoon Tribal Council and the RUSH franchise.
