U of S Aboriginal Achievement Awards

Forty students took home Aboriginal Achievement Awards hosted by the University of Saskatchewan. The event brought together the Aboriginal community to recognize the accomplishments of Aboriginal students attending the university. Guests and winners enjoyed an atmosphere of laughter as dignitaries shared stories of their educational journeys as U of S alumni.

The awards are part of Aboriginal Achievement Week, taking place March 10-14 on campus. A variety of events including cultural ceremonies and workshops, special presentations by Aboriginal entrepreneurs, language workshops, Indigenous arts and food, and a special guest appearance by National Chief Shawn Atleo. The event will close off with a round dance on March 15th.

Congratulations and best of luck to all students in their journey to success.
